Data privacy statement

Privacy Policy

The protection of your data is of special concern to us. TRAUSSNIG Spedition GmbH, as website operator, therefore always processes your personal data confidentially and exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, General Data Protection Act and Telecommunications Act).

As the Controller, we have implemented technical and organisational measures to ensure the highest possible protection of the personal data processed by us. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Contact with us

If you contact us through the form on the website or by e-mail, your personal data will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this personal data without your consent.

Earmarking, legal basis, storage period and data recipient

We need the collected personal data to process the inquiry, fulfilment of the contract, billing, assertion of contractual claims, for customer service purposes and for information purposes. The data is collected, stored, processed and used for this purpose.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is, on the one hand, contract fulfilment, legitimate interests, the fulfilment of our legal or contractual obligations and, on the other hand, your consent. Minors under the age of 14 years cannot validly consent to the processing of their data, and the consent of their legal guardians is required. If we become aware that we have received personal data concerning a child under the age of 14 years, we will immediately cease to process it.

We process your personal data, if necessary, for the duration of the entire business relationship or longer in accordance with the legal storage and documentation obligations, and until the end of any legal dispute.

We make use of third parties to fulfil the contract. The data of our customers and suppliers can therefore be passed on to various processors (e.g. freight forwarders, carriers, authorities). In the course of passing on orders, personal data is transferred to processors, who in turn can forward the orders and thus your data to sub-processors. The data transmission takes place exclusively for the fulfilment and on the basis of the rights and obligations arising from the contractual agreement, as well as with our explicit agreement. Shipment data can be communicated to the authorities of the transit or destination country for customs clearance, tax release or security checks if required. The legislation of the respective country is taken into account. Information usually includes: sender's name and address, recipient's name and address, description of goods, number of parts, weight and value of the shipment.

The processors have undertaken to comply with the applicable data protection regulations. Agreements have been made to this effect.
